13. Terms and conditions

✓ I understand that sessions with a neuro-educator are an educational experience.

✓ I understand that if I do not like what is happening, I will inform the practitioner in a timely manner.

✓ I understand that follow-up movements or activities may be required at home. I agree to perform these movements (or do them with my child) in consultation with the practitioner.

✓ I understand that I (or my child) attend these sessions to use movement-based exercises to develop learning potential.

✓ I also understand and agree that, because this is an educational experience only, no medical diagnosis, prognosis or treatment is made or implied in these private sessions. Any mental, emotional or physical change I experience is the result of my (or my child’s) ability to learn to change.

The practitioner is in no way authorised to make a medical diagnosis. He or she will take into account the treatments put in place by the medical profession. In fact, the movements proposed in the sessions are in no way medicine and do not replace medical advice or treatment. They are not a substitute for medical or paramedical care. Our support is based on listening, respecting each person’s rhythm, and an educational approach to the body.

The practitioner pays attention of the client (parents and guardians) to his/her share of responsibility in the educational process, specifically about the need for his/her active participation and constant co-operation with the neuro-educator. We strongly recommend to fulfil all prescriptions and advices of the practitioner.
